History
This building was intended to be 47 stories tall with 600 luxury condominium units when completed. The 47 stories were built but the luxury condos never were – the building is about 80% complete.
The project was begun in 1990 by Rangsan Torsuwan; an architect and developer who put up a number of Bangkok’s skyscrapers during the real estate explosion in the 1980’s and 90’s. In 1993 Torsuwan was arrested for plotting to kill the President of Thailand’s Supreme Court. It took 15 years but he was acquitted in 2010 after being found guilty in 2008.
Having the developer arrested on such a serious charge didn’t help the project but it was the financial crash in 1997 that sounded the death knell. Over 300 skyscraper projects stopped during the real estate crash – most of which have either been completed or demolished since – but this tower remains up and slowly surrendering to ravages of time.
This said to be due to Torsuwan’s insistence on selling the property – to get the investors their money back – instead of just declaring bankruptcy.
Since its abandonment the tower has become a playground for urban explorers and bucket list destination for paranormal investigators. The long climb – up the fire escape stairs – to the 47th floor is back breaking but the view of the river and the city skyline is said to be more than worth it.
In the past entering the building was said to be fairly easy but that is now said to be no longer true. Apparently to gain entrance you now have to pay off either the security or the large of homeless people living at the base.
People who have posted videos of themselves online in the building have been charged with trespassing.
Paranormal Activity
The building is said to be built on an ancient burial ground and many people believe it is the curse from this that is the real reason the building was never finished and cannot be sold now. The building also casts a shadow over a Buddhist Temple which has also been voiced as a reason why the build was never completed.
In 2014 the body of a Swedish man was found hanging in a bathroom on the 43rd floor. His death was ruled a suicide.
Reported Paranormal Activity: shadow figures; figures seen peeking around corners or from above and below on the staircase; disembodied voices; unexplained noises including loud bangs, unexplained mists; light anomalies and feelings of anxiety.

History
This former shoe factory is located in the centre of the leather and tanning industry in Thailand.
At some point – although we were unable to verify this historically – there was an accident involving an air compressor that exploded resulting in numerous fatalities and injuries.
The only verifiable incident at this site was a fire in 2019 when the building was apparently empty. There were no injuries or fatalities at that time.
After the accident the employees reported numerous encounters with the paranormal – presumed to be related to the fatalities – and soon began quitting their jobs. The intensity of the paranormal activity quickly became overbearing for them.
The loss of employees and inability to hire more led to the failure of the business and the owner fatally shot himself in his office.
The factory is now said to be locked up.
Paranormal Activity
Urban explorers and paranormal investigators that have entered the building report numerous encounters with things that cannot be easily explained.
Reported Activity: apparitions; shadow figures; disembodied voices; unexplained sounds including whispers, bangs and moans; phantom sound of a gun shot coming from the top floor where the owner killed himself; hearing your name whispered; touches, pokes and pulls by unseen presences; light anomalies; electrical disturbances and feelings of being watched, not being wanted and being watched.
